Yesterday in Oslo, the European Commission and Europa Nostra awarded the final prizes 2015 for the best projects in conservation, research and documentation within the cultural field.
The Public Choice Award, the most prestigious among all, was awarded by HRH Haakon Crown Prince of Norway, to Roberto Nardi, director of the Centro di Conservazione Archaeologica of Rome, project planner and implementer of the intervention for conservation, restoration and musealization of the Mont’e Prama sculptures. The Italian Ambassador, Giorgio Novello, attended the ceremony.
We are happy to share with you this good result for Sardinia, for the Mont’e Prama Sculptures and for the excellence of Italian restoration and archaeology.
