Ammar Haidar, born in Damascus, is the Director of the Scientific and Restoration Laboratories of the DGAM in Damascus, Syria.
Ghias Klesly, born in Damascus, is the Vice Director of the Scientific and Restoration Laboratories of the DGAM in Damascus, Syria.
Participants
Ayham Alfakhri, born in Raqqa, graduated in Archaeology in 2005 and has been a permanent employee of the DGAM since 2006. He is a mosaic specialist and is responsible for archaeological excavations in the region of Raqqa.
Ali Al Ahmad, born in Hama, has been a member of the DGAM since 2004. He is head of the Hama Museum’s conservation laboratory.
Borhan Alzaraa, born in Damascus, has worked as a mosaic restorer at the Citadel of Damascus laboratories since 1998.
Firas Alhahj Ali, born in Tell Amar, Idleb, graduated in Archaeology in 2006. He has worked in Aleppo Museum’s conservation laboratory since 2008.
Mouhamad Al Sbeeh, born at Idleb, has worked as a mosaic restorer at the DGAM since 2003.
Maher Jbaee, born in Damascus, has worked as a mosaics restorer at the Citadel of Damascus laboratories since 2001.
Mohammad Kaeed, born in Damascus, has worked as a mosaics restorer at the Citadel of Damascus laboratories since 2007. He grew up in his family’s marble factory, where he learnt to create modern mosaics and cosmatesque marble inlays.
Taghrid Mouhamad, born in Damascus, is head of the Latakia Museum’s restoration laboratory.
Jihan Sulaiman, born in Hasaka Derbasia, has worked as a mosaics restorer in the Citadel of Damascus’s laboratories since 2003.
