About this lecture
On Friday March 23rd, Roberto Nardi and Andreina Costanzi Cobau held a seminar for the students of archeology of the University of Salento. Topics of the seminar were the main mechanisms of decay of archaeological materials, illustrated through some practical cases of intervention, with particular attention to Preventive Conservation.
The case of the painted plasters of the Manasse Prayer Room in Hierapolis, Turkey, which was recently interested by a conservation program run by the CCA, has been presented.
