About this lecture
On Monday the 4th of April 2016 Roberto Nardi and Gael de Guichen were in Athens to open a seminar on mosaic conservation.
Roberto Nardi gave a lecture titled “Conservation of Mosaics: current approaches and future visions”.
The lecture was part of a three weeks seminar for mosaic professionals in Greece. They were hosted by the ICOM Hellenic National Committee in 15 Agios Asomaton Street, Thiseion, Athens.
The workshop “Conservation of mosaics in situ” ran between the 4th and the 22nd of April and it was organized in the framework of a Training Program undertaken by the Architectural Conservation Laboratory of TEI of Athens in collaboration with the Directorate of Conservation of Ancient and Modern Monuments, Hellenic Ministry of Culture and the Archaeological Ephorate of Athens. The program is funded by the J. M. Kaplan Fund.
