About this lecture
On Friday the 19th of June 2015, Roberto Nardi gave a lecture on the project of restoration, conservation and musealisation of the Monte Prama Nuragic sculptures, Cabras (OR), within the context of the conference “La rinascita dei Giganti di Mont’e Prama” organized by the Rotary Club Cagliari Sud.
The conservation project, recently awarded with the Europa Nostra Prize, was carried out by CCA between 2007 and 2011 and saw conservators dealing with over 5000 stone fragments, that have been carefully documented and assembled. Eventually, they comprised a collection of 38 statues representing archers, boxers, warriors and models of Nuraghe.
