About this lecture
In the frame of the XXV conference of AISCOM, held between March 13th -15th at the National Archaeological Museum of Reggio Calabria, Andreina Costanzi Cobau presented the first results of the in situ conservation intervention carried out by the Centro di Conservazione Archeologica on the mosaics of the balneum of the Roman villa of Marco Simone, Guidonia.
In particular the seasonal reburial system made with Goretex sheets and volcanic material was illustrated. The conservation work started in 2016 and is still ongoing.
