About this lecture
On October 13, 2016 Roberto Nardi gave a lecture at the New York University in Washington about archaeology in the Mediterranean region, and the social and economic impact of conservation projects, presenting a series of case-studies from the recent experience of CCA Centro di Conservazione Archeologica within the area.
The lecture was organized in the frame of “Protecting our Heritage” series of events launched by the 2016 the European Union National Institutes of Culture (EUNIC) Washington DC. The program aimed to increase awareness and build networks of institutions and experts working on this subject and was implemented in partnership with a number of prominent institutions – including international organizations, universities, museums, foundations. The UNESCO and Delegation of the European Union to the United States of America supported this project.
